United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Rimini Red
Mauled by the Puma.....

..... not strictly modifications or maintanence.....

17:50 tonight got t-boned by a Ford Puma. Put me on two wheels and nearly rolled me over.

Insurance up and running and so is solicitors for my stiffening neck (after 2hrs in A&E) Stupid Censored 'didn't see me' but then again how could he trying to come out from behind a parked car. Evil or Very Mad

Currently he is taking all responsibility. Ins Assessor due tomorrow and hopefully courtesy car at same time.

Good job I hadn't wasted time 'detailling'...

And the culprit

 There's always a way forward!

Looks quite bad, but sure it will be all sorted as soon as possible

So far :
Ambulance chasers been in touch - details given to cover hidden costs
Insurers briefed and following up claim - their approved repairer is LR approved as well (hurrah) supplying dealer group company.
Assessor from garage will collect car once temp replacement on its way.
Enterprise car hire due to pick me up to put me in another car for duration at other drivers costs.. just been told - another FL2!

could it be written off because they can't get any more Rimini Red paint??

Forgot to mention but the eagle eyed amongst may have notived - i don't have any luck with Red land rovers - my first a FL1 was drowned in floods.

Maybe next time a different colour............ thats less conspicuos There's always a way forward!
