Intrusion detection module

FL2s delivered in Russia don't have this module.
Is there the intrusion detection module in your cars and does someone have its photo together with a cable?

I'll be thankful for your corrections of my mistakes

Hi Lar! Long time no hear! Very Happy
In Romania this ultrasonic module also isn't available.
Which cable do you talk about?
Its connector has 3 pins: +12V, GND and LIN communication.
As for its picture, look below.

Hi Lar,
The unit as shown by Alex olny becomes active after the second press of the 'lock' button on the fob.
This is to allow locking of the vehicle after one press only for dogs etc inside the vehicle. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

If I understand correctly, there is no sense of double lock, if this module is not present.

Is that correct or there are other reasons for double lock? 2010 Freelander 2 Select TD4 auto....gone

I believe the second lock actually dead-locks the doors, which means that after this is done, you can no longer open the doors from within, without using the fob to unlock the doors. 1st time FL2 owner. 2007 SE i6 in Tambora Flame.

I have an idea to buy this module and to connect it to the cable up if this cable is present in my car but I haven't the idea of its disposition.
PS At the same time there is the dead lock of the doors in my car.

Usually the cables are there. If not, it will be easy to mount them as they are, as I've said, only 3.
According with schematics, they go directly to Central Junction Box.
After you'll install it, you'll probably have to modify the CCF file in order to reflect the level of equipment.
Block 2, Byte 13, PARAM_EUCD_CCF_ALARM
Block 2, Byte 48, PARAM_EUCD_CCF_INTERIOR_MOTION_SENSOR.

Alex, thank you very much.
Is this device installed under or above a roof facing?

PS There isn't a sunroof in my car

Yes, I believe that is the device. And from how it looks in my picture it is installed under the face of the roof in that way that the holes of the ultrasonic transmitter and receiver to be under the roof, right where the holes of the color coded mask are.
In your picture it seems that doesn't have the color coded mask. (to match the interior roof color)
As for the installation place, with or without sunroof, it is installed in the same place, centre of the roof.

PS: Where did you find it? Can you source more than a piece or it is a single one? I am too interested in such a module.
