Thanks for the quick reply.......at the time I repositioned the mirrors with the same left/right selectors.

If you can reposition them but they do not close or reopen after a close, then it's not normal in my opinion. |

Try disconnecting the battery - go and have a cup of tea (10 mins) - reconnect the battery - try the mirrors.

I don't recall the actual issue but one of 'our members' had the AA out for a problem and as well as disconnecting the battery he actually connected the live and earth lead together for a moment or two to create a circuit (without the battery).... . What good can this do if the battery is not connected I guess it totally earth's the whole system - maybe it's similar to turning your TV off with the remote onto standby and then unplugging it....the standby light takes a few moments to actually go off after the pug is pulled. |

I suppose it drains all the juice out of any capacitors etc. If I sound like I know anything it's a mistake, but I do like to give a computer a good kick when it messes me about and it makes me feel bettet . |

Seem to recall when I collected mine the mirrors didn't fold. I used the L/R buttons to close and then open them and after that they folded when the car locked. Now regularly fold the mirrors manually to put car into garage. They remain folded in garage when car is locked and unlocked and after I've unfolded them manually they then auto fold on subsequent lock/unlock cycles. |
