HSE = Holy Sh*t edition

SE - Substandard Equipment

So No body actually Knows then? am I right that HSE even dates back to Austin or Leyland days? was theree not a princess or ambasador in HSE trim? The model below the 'Van Den Plas?'

We all may kid but all in all I'm a proud owner tough! Still happy in impressed with it. First car I ever owned that actually I think of. All my former cars I just used.
I would not be bothered with a forum otherwise and I expect most of us neither.

This is an enthousiasts car with a personallity of somekind. Very few cars have that, and judging on the responses of all the other types of LR, the whole range is like that. Don't know of any other brand like that.

We may hate or love them but at least it moves us!

Sorry torssell if it didn't turn out the way you had hoped but if the letters actually mean something, I would think High Spec Edition would be my favourite.

and yeah, it matters not what spec we own, we have a 'Land Rover'

I think its something from those cars, i sure my mums Maestro was a HSE and i think my dad had a rover with VDP on it too at one point
