Trains are like rice, I don't like it because it's very third world!

I'm looking forward to exploring Scotland when it's independent and got a decent exchange rate - like 10p a tot!

Look right between Newcastle and Berwick and give us a wave when you see Holy Island - we'll be there for a week. If you like archaeology, Berwick station is built INSIDE the medieval castle. There are still a few walls to see. You'll also get a fantastic view as you cross the river in Newcastle. Count the bridges!
Last time I travelled 1st class on East Coast I got a broken seat - in both directions. Their trains are getting a bit old now.
