Apologies about mentioning operating footbrake after start-up before engaging cruise control. Tried it today and cruise engages happily without brake. My previous GM car needed brake pedal pressed to allow cruise. The book said it was a safety measure! Just one press seems to be OK for me. |

Thanks all, and apologies for my first reply. My old Freelander used to work with CC in any terrain response mode, whereas the new one doesn't. I can now use it. Indus Silver
