Help with Headlight

Hello everyone

I have taken my headlights out and have found that they have H7 (main beam) H11L (dipped) it also has it printed D1S 12V35W,
Firstly i cannot find the D1S bulb as i have separate fog lights below,
I have changed the H7 for the Philips extreme 100%
Any recommendations for the H11? Should i get xenon’s from Hids4U?
I have the 2011 Freelander 2 limited edition.

Any advice is greatly received

DS1 is the bulb you would need if you had bi-xenons fitted Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Hi,
I will be watching this post to see what the collectives thoughts are on retrofitting non OE xenons, I have done this on all of my motorbikes and a couple of my cars but I am a bit worried about the height of the FL2 and dazzling oncoming drivers.

No problem with dazzle if you fit HID to the projector type headlights from MY2011.
Problems could be if you fit them to the old reflector type headlights.

Yes, MY2011, like the ones the original poster has on his car...
And then change the dipped beam bulb with HID.
Sorry, indeed, for Off-Topic... Bow down

Have you checked the price with hids4u as they are sponsors of the sister forum Disco3

They might have offered a deal over there, worth checking Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Yes his4u quoted me £160 for h11 with the can bus system.

I have sent a pm with a link which might help

I know the price are different, but normally you get what you pay for, when I did my LEDs the cheap ones were failing quickly, Hids4u ones have lasted well longer than the others Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

And do this on a 2011MY FL2???????????? You'll blow out of the window any warranty that exists for the next 3 years.
Land Rover will be quite within their rights to say Bye Bye if the car should go wrong in this time.
