Door/Boot unlocking

Since having a software update, one push on the remote opens the drivers door only where as before it used to open the drivers door and the boot, any ideas on how to get this back?? Thanks

So does a second press unlock the boot and the other 3 doors.

If so it sounds like a security change with the single point unlock option.

I would think the only option would be to change the car setting to all open. I'm sure there is a sticky about doing that. 2002 Honda VFR800

mine reacts as follow:
1st push opens drivers door, 2nd opens all doors inlcuding boot. I do have a seperate button for the boot too.

Yes, the second push opens everything. It's not an issue, I just wondered if there was a quick fix

Although the link tells me how to have all doors and boot open on one push, I am looking for the fix to open just the drivers door and boot on one click as I had before the update. Any ideas??

To open the drivers door and the tailgate with one click is not documented, never heard of it being done so you must have had a one off Confused

The only two options are
1. All doors, tailgate and fuel cap.
2. Driver door and fuel cap.

Obviously there is a tailgate opening seperately on the fob but I would be pleased to know differently.

Mine operates as described by wizking. Pressing unlock once unlocks the drivers door and boot, pressing unlock again unlocks the remaining doors. I guess the software upgrade increases security by keeping the boot locked on a single press.

Yes it seems 2008 models software unlock:

One press: Driver door, tailgate and fuel cap.
Second press: All doors, tailgate and fuel cap.

2009 onwards

One press: Driver door, and fuel cap.
Second press: All doors, tailgate and fuel cap.

Maybe it can be re-instated at the dealers but also may be part of a bigger update and not a seperate one.

My 08 opens just the driver's door and fuel cap with one push. I would find it really inconvenient if the tailgate unlatched too.

Under 'Remotes' in the handbook are a number of options for programming the key fob - at least for down under models!

It didn't unlatch, just unlocked.
