It's there as a deflector aswell, to deflect the wind from the big piece of glass that's waiting to catch the wind and be torn off which would look a damm sight worse than a net Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

Try holding down the deflector (get the passenger to do it!!) while at speed and you will find the 'booming' quite intolerable. The last car I had with a sunroof did not have the deflector and was a nightmare so I rarely used it.

I must admit it doesnt look good but i couldnt agree more with the above posts, without it you probably wouldnt want to slide the roof back anyway defeating the object of removing it! |
