If I remember correctly, 500 miles and basically dont let it labour or race the gears. Nothing more to it. Not like cars of yester year when they had 'running in' stickers on the back and you couldn't do this and that etc. |

The handbook actually states 1000 miles before towing ! so if you were unlucky enough to break down whilst towing and the clock reads under 1000 miles then there is L/R's first opt out clause !

My handbook is also the 2010 edition for my SD4 MY11, I'm at work at the moment but remember it being in the early pages. The 'cut and paste' is from the 2010 online Owners manual. http://www.ownerinfo.landrover.com/extfree2viewlrprod/index.jsp |
