Wipers stopped mid-stroke

Mornin' all,
My XSe is coming close to two years old now, and so far has been trouble free. This morning, as my wife travelled through summer weather ( it was raining) the wipers stopped mid-way through and are now stuck mid-screen.

Any suggestions, front and rear washers and rear wipe still working fine, rain still falling!

Any suggestions much appreciated,

Ken Proper cars.

Hi again, wondered about fuses, bit confused as the washers and rear wiper are still working okay off the same stalk switch.
Haven't had the chance to look in any depth yet, simultaneously carrying out granddad duties! Proper cars.

It's a feature: less wind resistance = better economy

Yes, the same stalk switch but different fuse feeds.

Update - LR Assist called out, couldn't identify the problem, dealer dissected the car and diagnose faulty wiper motor.
Warranty replacement ordered.

Discovery 4 ordered. Proper cars.

Is that not odd? I had never heard of Clanderboye before today reading this post, now on BBC2 is Dan Cruikshank spending an hour in Clanderboye House talking about the family.....any relation my new special friend!!!! Upgraded to an ex demo, 7 mth old, Rimini Red/Ebony Napoli Auto HSE on 28th Jan 2011, added roof rails, mudflaps and side strips.
