58500 miles, I wouldn't call that "very little use", thats slightly above average mileage for a 4 year old car or am I missing something here

People drive more now, cos there fat and lazy so 60000 miles on a 4 year old car is about right!

I guess you're right in that respect, I was just comparing it to Mrs Dave's FL2, (used as her daily commute to work and the odd long journey), same age but only 32000 on the clock. ______________________

That's no miles!! My previous defender had 96k on the old girl and that was new in 2007, got shot of it in Jan 2009! That's just slightly above average my dealer told me!

Think what the guy meant was he hadn't done many miles since he purchased it. I presume it had another owner?

Looks like a good offer to me. I'd consider it if I were in the market.

The only problem I can see is people's normal relucatance to spend £10,000 + on someone's driveway, along with the difficulty in finding a cash buyer (without a trade in) who has £13,000 ready to spend.

And yes, i meant it has had little use since i bought it last year approved from the dealer.

I half been semi done over by work! we were on a car allowance last year, happy days, bought myself a nice freelander 2. 3 months later, the policy changes to fleet L200s. which left me with a car to get rid of.

there are worst positions to be in, but i now dont need it, therefore must get rid! not looking forward to the change, but what can you do!

seems alot of people simply window shop, even on ebay, or spend their weekends viewing cars they never plan to buy!

If anyone knows of any 4x4 trade centers or Independent LR dealers, please let me know.
