If the fault code wont clear then its a permanent fault !, may be a fuel pressure sensor or incorrect fuel pressure related. The dealer should know what the fault means and how to fix.. What you are saying was that the dealer wasnt sure ! very worrying having experinced similar problems myself with dealerships.
I guess you now have to book in for them to investigate . The MIl light wont always disply if its not emmsions related or running in limp mode ! having said that mine had spent over 2 years running around with reduced performance without L/R noticeing it on iether services ! and no light on !

2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Zermatt Silver

Any thoughts or update on this and has anyone else got the same issues?

Had the Fun Prevention Officer's F2 today (she'd made off with my D4 for some reason...) and it appears to be 'flat' and appears to be missing at somewhere between 65 and 70 or so.

It's a 2011 MY F2 Manual that's 6 months old (Dec 2010) with just over 10,000 miles on the clock.

Feels almost like fuel starvation - it's a 'hesitancy' rather than a full on power failure but there's a distinct lack of urge!

I would say EGR fault but surely not yet????

Any thoughts?

hi car went back to dealer on 19/20 may thay had for two days said thay had cleared the code and i should not have any problem, guess what went 10 miles down the motorway at the first roundabout as i pulled off the flatspot was there its now going back to the dealer again on the 6/6/11 also sent an e-mail to the dealer expressing that if he can;t sort the problem out to get landrover tech involved as i may retun the vehicle under not fit for purpuse for a replacement this will be the third time of going back with the same problem Big Cry Big Cry

the thing is when this fault is not there its a realy nice car if anbody has any idea of who to contact at l/r if the dealer can;t rectify rainy-city

Scotland 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Fuji White

Land Rover Assist engineer came out to my SD4 for fuel gauge problem and authorised dealer to fit new senders as car was liable to stop at any time.
In addition,

!!! He told me to make sure dealer does DPF software upgrade when car is in as at 6k you are just at mileage for fault and possible limp home mode!!!!

Also authorised hire car, a Disco 4 HSE All FL2's (3) Gone
2011 Mercedes C180 CGI Gone
FL2 GS Auto SD with heated leather, factory tints, alloy spare and a few other bits.

and a yellow warning lamp when thay go into the fault codes i think its code 214 this happened on mine and i took it to the dealer and they di a software up grade he said if it was not done the fault will come back.
