United States 2008 LR2 i6 HSE Auto Zermatt Silver
New to the forum, here are some pictures of my LR2 HSE

Hello everyone!

Have been looking here for quite some time and finally decided to become a member.
I find the site extremely informative and fun. I am looking forward to help any other fellow members on this site ( and other sites as well ) with any help i can provide.

I own a 2008 LR2 HSE with almost everything available for it at the time it was released. Recently I added the rear entertainment monitors and a reverse camera for my GVIF that is getting installed in the following weeks.

I am extremely happy with my LR2 and find it a pleasure to drive in every condition. I did a trip from coast to coast here in the US and it did wonderful. Encountered many different climates and never once skipped a beat.

Here are a few pictures I have managed to collect, enjoy:

The work really good and they have tilt so there is better viewing angle. Easy install as well.
Let me know if you have any questions on them. Cuatro Por Cuatro

The are only capable of playing movies, pictures and music from memory card directly into a control module at the back of the center console. It is included with the monitors. They have 2 inputs to hook up multiple sources if need be. so you can have two movies, one on each monitor. This is the way i do it.
I run my iphone to them and also my memory cards.
No need to wire a DVD player since i don't even own DVD's anymore. I have been thinking about adding a TV tuner in there, but it might just be to much.
I also have the reverse camera connected to them for fun really. Cuatro Por Cuatro

Nice!

How come you don't have a licence plate on the front? Is that common in the US? 1st time FL2 owner. 2007 SE i6 in Tambora Flame.

Hello there!

It's only required in some states. In Arizona, we are only required to have one license plate at the back of the vehicle.
So I have that chrome Land Rover plate on the front since the bracket looked ugly all black. Cuatro Por Cuatro

Canada 2008 LR2 i6 HSE Auto Tonga Green

His LR2 has the 2'nd version of Land Rover Rear Entertainment system with 7" screens and built in player (in center console).
They forgot to add an A/V output to the unit. I'm going to open up the player and see if I can patch an out. Otherwise you could try splitting the signal from one of the monitor cables.

See this thread https://www.freel2.com/forum/topic3801-75.html
