Why do people not have there lights on when it's raining and visibility is reduced?? Are they plain stupid and retarded they have not noticed it's raining? Or think they don't need them on?? It really grinds my gears! Rant over!

Hence the reason of daytime running lights. (mandatory on all new vehicles except LR's for some reason?)

Although I must admit I find LED DTR lights dangerous to oncoming traffic, LED's are so bright just a couple are needed to be seen so why do Audi insist on sticking a couple of dozen in each headlamp and Citroen with that DS making it look like it has a pair of strip lights hanging off its bumper? LED lights are far too bright to be considered safe to others. just glad Ive got Xenons on mine so I can inflict some of the blindness back on those b ds!!!!  Now - 2017 BMW X3 M Sport Carbon Black

But then you get the on the Motorway doing 80 + in the rain with their Rear Fogs on WTF do they really think that some other is going to be going that fast that they are going to be rear ended at that speed Don't they realise that rears dazzle just as much as Fronts, Rears should be linked to the speedo so if they feel it is safe enough to be doing over 40 then it is safe enough to drive without Rear Fogs on and the lights should automatically switch off.

Auto lights are quite temperamental. Recently they worked fine when I went through the underpass in Derby and they duly switched off once I emerged into daylight again. However, the other day it was mega bright sunshine and they came on. They were adamant that headlights were needed but clearly not.

Personally, I think those who feel the need to switch on their lights at the slightest opportunity (include drl in this) simply should not drive if they need lights in daytime when it is broad daylight to see where they are going.
