Main reason, keeps a bit of the sun off my little un.
but it also keeps the car a bit cooler, stops prying eyes looking whats in there, and with mine being black i think it just finishes it off nicely having black pillars and the black strip around the edge of the back window.

Have yourself a black interior and you'll quickly understand why window tint is necessary. Unfortunately, around these parts the powers that be limit the film to 50%.

Would never had it because gives any fine looking vehicle a commercial van appearance and particularly black cars. 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

Looks especially good on my black car and it stops people from seeing my bald patch from behind.

Firstly my reason is I think it looks good. When I see another FL2 without it, it can just look cheap.

But I hate tints with window film as you can still all the lines in the window from the heated screen. A proven fact as well is that windows with film actually increase interior heat as they are not solar reflective and absorb the heat. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. The problem with privacy glass is you pull up at a busy junction wanting to turn left, the car on your right has drug dealer tinted glass and so you can't see if owt is coming.

Blasted pain in the butt. Sadly some even think it looks good but believe me it doesn't. Just buy some decent sunglasses, they work much better and you can take em off when the sun goes in, and lets face it, that's most of the time in the UK.........  MY2014 SD4 XS
