Don't know but I just had mine done by Tintwise in Eastbourne who fitted Dark Charcoal STD20 which is identical to LR factory fitted - they are authorised aftermarket fitters for several vehicle manufacturers. Not sure about percentages when you combine natural light properties of original glass with tint, but guess combined is 20% transmission.

Hope this helps Mine: Freelander 2 HSE, 08. Santorini Black/Alpaca Leather, privacy glass, side steps.

It aint that black. Wished I'd gone for aftermarket in honesty. Could do with being a couple of shades darker.

It is a factory fit from new, we ordered it that way, no choice over how dark you wanted it, which is normal, it's one shade.

Had a dealer fit on a Disco and it was much darker, that said he never asked us what shade we'd like, evidently you can choose the shade for that, just went for it, but it worked out fine.

I have had all my defenders done, but no one could do a perfect finish on the slidey windows! Freelander looks good, not sure what mine is, will find out tho!

The LR dealership freelanced the Disco to a specialist. It was absolutely perfect. I wondered if it would come off or some like thing, but it's had knocks and it's every bit as good as factory. That said it was 400 squid!

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto Narvik Black

Mines Carbon 18 (18%) which I am told is the same as factory fit..

Carbon apparently as it contains no metal which can effect the areial in the rear windows.

Looks good and I think I paid over the odds (but is a proper job) however I would have prefered factory glass as no orange strips and no white shadows around the glass on the rear glass. Freelander 2 TD4 Auto, SE, Narvik Black, Alpaca full leather, Rear Headrest Entertainment System, 6 CD, 18 HSE Wheels, Privicy tints
