?Service 24?

Hello there, the above message has appeared on my dash, wondered if anyone could answer the following,
1. My Freelander2 had a major service last year on 60,000m, it is now on 67k, i thought that the schedule was every 15k? is it also time dependant?
2. Have had a look at the service schedule post on here and noticed that EU vehicles have A or B services, but Gulf and US have A,B and O (oil service) why is this?

Thanks, just been quoted for I think a B service by an indie, would have thought only needed an service? but he said pollen filters, check this check that etc etc

Reset the service indicator, there's a thread on here about how to do it.

I was going to say the same thing. I have driven around 5k miles since last service, but my dealer has put a sticker on my windscreen that informs me that in July (or at a certain number of miles) my next service is due.

its your call, have the car serviced and get the book stamped

or don't have your car serviced, change the filters and oil yourself, don't have the service booked stamped, possible lose a little money due to "missed service" when you trade it in, and reset the service indicator

it up to you, to be honest your driving a relativity expensive car and quibbling over getting it serviced because you haven't done loads of miles, you don't even need to use genuine parts now, and could shop around for the cheapest service possible and still get your booked stamps which may help you in the trading in

up to you, its your car Very Happy Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

You'll be due an A service.

I would strongly advise always to service your car every 15000 (depending on model) or every year, whatever comes first.

As another poster said you are driving a relatively maarque brand therefore expensive brand so get it done.
