Around the £600 mark for a detachable with wiring from LR, it can be found cheaper if you shop around.

Tow bar mount are fab! Easy to load and no drag from tow bar mounted! I would hate the idea of my 2.5k mountain bike on the roof. If it is muddy you would get muddy struggling to lift it up there!! Also they look daft on the roof! |

P F Jones also supply the detachable Witter with a traditional towbal and flange which is useful if you have a bike carrier. It is a little more expensive but very useful.
