No caravan.
On board were 2 women, 7 dogs and 1 baby. From memory, I think it clipped a lorry, the driver lost control and ended up on opposite side of crash barrier. Excess speed wasn't to blame either. Poke it, Poke it, make it do it again!!

As promised, one Discovery 2 after rolling over the central crash barrier. No one injured amazingly, after looking at the state of the roofline! I've seen Range Rovers in a similar state too.

I suppose if it flipped you have a lot of weight coming down to land hense the state of it! (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

I suppose if it flipped you have a lot of weight coming down to land hence the state of it.

True enough. I don't think it did a Hollywood style, 20 feet flip in the air (there were no cardboard boxes or oil-drums, or pyrotechnics to be seen), it just collided with the crash barrier and rolled over it.

I always found it worrying about the strength of the front part of the roof on early Disco's & Rangeys. I once saw a pair of police P38 range rovers that had rolled down the banking. The thing that saved the officers inside was the substantial telescopic flood light pole fitted behind the front seats. That acted like a roll cage.

Back to the original Freelander photo posted by CG, I'm quite happy that in the unfortunate event of my car rolling, my head will still be attached to the rest of me. Thumbs Up [/quote] Poke it, Poke it, make it do it again!!
