As you didn't specify a spare wheel as an extra, I believe you will now also need the tool/jack kit, as that doesn't come with the puncture repair system which you say you have. |

It's probably cheaper to buy a small bottle jack from Machine Mart or similar, rather than an OEM jack. Poke it, Poke it, make it do it again!!

Thanks everyone for your advice, I have been trawling and spotted some possibilities on flea bay and other LR suppliers, but still waiting to see if anyone has actualy used this spare wheel replacement kit. Freelander 2 GS 2011(facelift)

Remember, not only are there a lot of punctures that it can't fix, but it also shouldn't be used on a car that's pulling a trailer and it may make the tyre irreparable.

Have a look in the For Sale Section on here. There are often 17 inch wheels for sale. |

Had a nail in my 19" rear tyre after only doing 500 miles. Didn't use the conti kit but used a tube of slime. Held enough to get me to LR to replace the tyre. I figure the slime at £5 would be cheaper than replacing the conti fluid. I am now on the look out for a 19" alloy to add as a spare. MY11 Freelander 2 Sport LE Fuji White |
