Service Costs

I am in the market for a new SD4. What sort of service costs can I expect in first three years?

I am sure they can't be as bad as my Subaru - they don't break down, but servicing costs ar horrendous.

The services alternate between a minor and a major (A or B I think they call it) and they seem to vary by a large amount depending on where you live (Even the same dealer name). Ring your local who you had a test drive with. Go for at least one service FOC with the sale (or try) Thumbs Up
On three years, 3 main dealer services you might get enough change to buy an ice cream out of £850.

(Every 12 months or 15k miles + brake fluid at year 3)

Prices from a local independent

Roughly double these for main dealer unless your main dealer is prepared to price match like mine is Very Happy 09 FL2 HSE auto Lago Grey

Wow, that is ' cheap ' !! After my recent test drive in an SD4 I asked at the service desk for the prices and was told that for the SD4 the services alternated £400, £500, £400, £500, !!

Just rang my local main LR agent...
Service A = £279
Service B = £379
So in the first three years £937 (Possibly minus the haggle factor) Thumbs Up

Ive not paid more than £200 yet for the main dealer services. Just negotiated my next one to £195, they start their bidding around £305, you can generally get £100 off the opening price
