United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Orkney Grey
Video screens no picture.

Just fitted headrest video screens - bought an Asda portable DVD player to play to the screens, got sound but no picture, camcorder works fine with them. DVD player does the same on the TV so guessing it's the player at fault, exchanged it at Asda - same problem. Seen a few comments on another post wrt to similar problem, any ideas suggestions even a make of player that does work OK!

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto Narvik Black

use your ipod - you can fit loads of video's, its more portable and it works brilliantly!!

With your DVD player it might be just something simple as changing from PAL to NTSC or vice versa? Have you checked the cable? Dependent on what cble it is, you may be able to try one of the audio ones instead?? Freelander 2 TD4 Auto, SE, Narvik Black, Alpaca full leather, Rear Headrest Entertainment System, 6 CD, 18 HSE Wheels, Privicy tints

I had a similar issue, PAL settings / output on the DVD player could be incorrect...
I now use an old archos player - fleabay for £50
