Resurrecting an old thread!

Just done the same, the wind took it, instead of throwing it right or forward where it would have probably been retrievable, it went left and down. Right into the engine bay. Tried to get it, but it's lost in there somewhere!

Just ordered a new part from Amazon, for easiness.

Mine did the same looked every where for it,only found it when I took the head light out.

I even went for a drive up a steep hill with my mate tagging behind to see if it would fall out, but nope, it's a castaway stuck somewhere! Haha

Hi. I have just had this happen, drooped the blue washer lid somewhere down below the washer bottle on left hand side. Tried to get at it but knocked it out of sight. Please could anyone tell me is it likely to do any damge? I've been for a drive and it hasn't fallen out. Just worried about having some loose plastic in the engine. Although its on the left hand side so hopefully out of the way of anything that it could affect. Just stressing now. Have ordered a new cap. Can't believe they aren't fixed properly. Any advice appreciated. Thanks
