There's the spirit of goodwill to Vanners.

However CG does of course cryptically mean that those without tow bars attached to their FL2's are at liberty to avail themselves of the excellent off road facilities that he proudly preserves for their pleasure - 24/7.

Her Ladyship did that yesterday - first time this season the summer tyres and body work got really filthy. Unfortunately though not by going to the pub, but she drove straight onto a building site (old water powered spinning factory) which is currently having its ancient redundant canal made into a culvert and redirected to the nearby river. The place is a quagmire. Everywhere wet detritus knee high.

But, no a-la-Doc frenzied warranty jitters. Showed her how to pay for, and use, the power wash lance at a local garage over and under the FL2. Rapidly her Felix soon regained its quotidian clean sharp look - just like her surgical scalpels.

Hardly frenzied Laughing

Its just that having purchased my FL1 from Hunters Derby I had a fear that I may get the same treatment. Hunters would try everything in their power to get out of warranty work. Thankfully Stratstone Nottingham have been excellent. The mud was washed away in the first instance but still required some crawling about under the car to remove the remainder.

P.S, as some suspected the noise was a bent heat shield rubbing on the prop shaft. Soon sorted Thumbs Up LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Doc - I can imagine what was running through your mind considering that you had previously been in the hands of that well known shower - Hunters on Pride Park Derby.

Pleased to hear that your Nottingham crew came good for you. may it continue Thumbs Up
