Just an important piece of information that everyone should be aware of with CCF - Car Configuration File.
Over the production life of the Freelander 2 there were 3 different Car Configuration Files which are as follows;

up to 2010MY
2011 - 2012MY
2013MY onwards

This no doubt is to cover different technologies and extra features available over the production of the model and as we are discovering there is different names for same fields across the MY's.
In my case, MY15, we are finding there is a lot to get through.
Some are a simple activation whilst others may require hardware and activation. MY15

Stuart - have you worked out if mods can be carried out if IAM2.1 Level 1 fitted or is loom different?

Hi Jim,
I'm guessing that the only difference in the instrument panel main harness would be between Meridian equipped and Land Rover branded audio vehicles, ie non MOST.
Reason for this assumption is that the electrical schematic in Topix is only differenciated by "hi-line" and "low/line".
So whether you have level 1 HDD or Level 3 HDD the instrument panel main harness should be the same.
Your problem will be the harnesses leading from the main instrument panel harness if any. MY15

This is the RSE system i will be looking to activate in my car.
All the functions are present in the vehicle already with the Meridian / IAM2.1 Level 3 HDD.
Well next project at least.

All the RSE fields in my E Mode menu are indicating "Uninitialised" but "Available" will just need to indentify all fields in CCF. Not sure off the top of my head if theres one field for RSE or 1 per AM/FM RSE, DAB RSE, AUX RSE, AUX ACC RSE, AUX Video RSE, CD Player RSE, VCDx Player RSE, DVD RSE, DVD Player 2 RSE, USB Player 2 RSE, Ipod Player RSE, Ipod Player 2 RSE, TV RSE, BT Service RSE, RSE Mirror as listed in E-Mode menu. MY15

Actually in hindsight there will be separate fields in the CCF for each of these as there is a field for "DAB Main" - "Digital Audio Broadcasting" which I'm yet to activate. MY15

Been a bit busy lately but still "beavering" away within my CCF. 4x4 info and Camera on the move are being a bit elusive but this is not a matter of just turning one field on, it can/is a combination. Sort of also following a logical process to eliminate all avenues before moving on. But we have made a bit of progress and if you look closely I now have an extra "driver configurable" option within Vehicle Setup. But still no display on the touchscreen so still looking for that CCF pathway. There also a few other features which I Havn't got around to activating.

I was hoping for something like that a 100bhp per cylinder mode for temporary use

Have found the field for Rear Seat Entertainmemt (RSE). I was incorrect in thinking there would be an individual field for each component, it's one field with a couple options,

Without a Rear Seat entertainment
With Rear Seat Entertainment
With Rear Seat Entertainment and DVD.

Havnt activated as yet but may do to see touchscreen options.

Also found the "Television Tuner" field, this had a few different options dependant on module

Without television tuner
Undefined
Television tuner (hybrid DVB-t and analogue)
Television digital DVB-t
Television digital ISDB-t (Japan)

Location of TV module/chassis carrier in the FL2 is under the drivers seat.

Learning weird and wonderful things buried in my CCF.
Latest thing I've stumbled upon is this field " Follow Me Home Reverse".
After a little research on the internet it made sense.
Similar to the front light delay or operated from the key fob, this feature does the same with the reverse lights.
Apparently 1 push to operate from headlights and second push operates reverse lights, 3rd to turn all off.
Currently mine is disabled so will "enable" and let you know if it works.
This is the way it's unfolding at the moment
