Fading can normally be due to waxes getting on them, with the one wash n wax out there, but normally takes quite a while and lots of sun

wax free shampoo and separate paint and glass sealants work best, plastic trim products can help too Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Must have been the lights in the Showroom, what can cause them to fade is your dealer keep washing it with TFR, that will over a period of time take the black out. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

As already mentioned, the Discovery has 'Discovery' across the bonnet instead of Land Rover, because it is the start of the Discovery re-branding.
