Just watched it. It prooved again that all those muscle cars don't make sense (anymore). That's one of the reasons I went for the Freelander 2 Cool

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Tambora Flame

I drove the exact route that they chose as the "best" (Davos to Stelvio) in July this year as part of our "Grand Tour of Europe" and must agree that it is incredible. The Stelvio must be driven just for the experience of 48 hairpins etc., but it is nerve racking and difficult - not least because of the cyclists who pass you on both sides on the way down. I guess they closed it for the Top Gear filming. The best (most enjoyable) Driving Roads are the ones prior to arriving at the pass - the run over the Fluella Pass out of Davos and down the Engadin - incredible surroundings (you don`t know what mountains are `till you`ve been through the Alps and Dolomites) and roads made for driving - with very little traffic.
OH - I want to go back and do it again!!!!!!!!!
(PS. Sorry but it wasn`t in my FL2 - I always take my MR2 on these summer trips, and, as they said last night, light and agile is the key to driving pleasure on those roads). In the winter I would have a completely different view!!!) Don`t drive faster than your angel can fly!

I driven the roads into the French alps on a number of occations during the winter, but those road on Top Gear were breathtaking, I'ed love to take a little sporty number up there into the fresh open air.

Wonder if the wife would mind me been away in the FL2 with a little sporty number Embarassed
