United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Sumatra Black
Help using Land Rover Used Car site

I have been looking past few weeks for a second hand Freelander.
As a 'Mac' user I am finding the 'LR' site a nightmare to use.

Can anyone help- rather than search every night the whole site can I set up email alerts to advise me when a new car is added? or anyway of searching 'cars added' last 24 hours?

Would welcome any help or suggestions

Many thanks

I think it remembers previous searches and postcode input etc. I use a MacBook Pro running Firefox and I find it easy to use. Not sure why being a 'Mac' user is causing problems. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

On a PC there are more search filters (flash based search) you can filter the previously viewed results. On my iPad it gives me a full list each time I go in which I suspect is what is happening with your MAC.

Solution, go and see a dealer and get them to do the donkey work, I am sure there must be one who wants your business.

Apple's war with adobe that causes flash problems only applies to iphoes and ipads as far as I know. I have flash installed on my macbook and the LR site works just fine. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Hmm back to the drawing board, I only have a pad.

Another suggestion, search on Inchcape and Sytner sites etc, they have cars that don't always appear on the LR site. With the Ewok Laughing Going out there will be some out there. Good luck and remember the problems on here are not indicative of overall reliability.

On the two occasions I've tried the LR site, the cars on it bore little relation to the cars actually in the dealer's. May be a good idea to go along to a dealer and tell 'em what you want and let them find one. Mind you, they will do their best to sell you one of their own stock, whether it fits your needs or not!

Both the children run i phones, the grandchidren have ipods, all very nice interfaces etc, but they are over hyped and in some areas restrictive, I really don't understand their popularity given the alternatives out there.
