In my bid to prevent further caravan traffic in N.Yorks I have this week arranged to have the A168 near Thirsk closed and the top layer of the road removed.

Tony, I was there on the official opening day when CG had on his best frock and it was like an 'Alfred Hitchcock' scene, we couldn't get out to sample the scones and cream at the buffet table. After half an hour he cleared the table
