United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Rimini Red
Test drove an EWOK today - Am I the first???

I can report that this is a VERY nice car.

Top of the range petrol Dynamic 3 dr coupe. Full length panoramic sounroof, black leather and 20" black alloys.
It oozes quality and is very quiet and smooth.

0-60 in around 7 secs and the engine makes a very pleasing noise.

Makes the Freely sound and feel agricultural (and we all know its not)

Would I buy one? If I had money to spare - at £44k it wasn't cheap.

Apparently lots of enquiries from porsche owners...

If you want one and were prepared to pay cash today you would still have to wait until next year.

Good news on the freely front - no new ones coming out of the factory so second hand values are expected to rise. Thumbs Up

DR There's always a way forward!

England 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Baltic Blue

You might well be the first to drive an EWOK but you're not the first to drive an EVOQUE. I drove a couple last week and I wasn't the first either.

Freelander's still coming out of the factory but at reduced rate, currently 25% of production is Freelander.

Tests drives are not being readily offered at my local dealer. I think you'd have to really impress them that you were about to buy before being passed the keys.

But, having seen and sat in them today, I can't say it's a huge loss Rolling Eyes It's certainly made me appreciate my Freelander all the more now! Thumbs Up
