Sat Nav Clock Not Updating

I've asked this question on here before but didn't get very far. I've finally got round to replicating the problem at the LR dealership (They couldn't replicate the problem at the last service in March). Now I have shown them, they are going to pass onto LR to investigate.

Would be interested to know how many other people it affects:-

0. Make sure you have a Freelander 2 (Mine's a March 2010 HSE) with Sat Nav Smile
1. Unlock car using fob
2. Get in car and make sure all doors are closed (if they are open, the fault doesn't show)
3. Insert fob
4. Press START (Do not depress clutch as if the engine is running, the fault doesn't show)
5. Now watch the radio clock change and then look to see if the Sat Nav clock updates at the same time
6. If you do manage to replicate the fault, try turning your wipers on or open your door, both these actions make the Sat Nav clock update!!!!!

Whilst trying to replicate the fault, if your wipers come on or you open your doors, the fault will not occur

Thanks in anticipation

PS The car was in for a free routine software update this morning but this didn't resolve the problem

thanks npinks.... having now read my previous post on this issue, i did notice you were the only one to manage to replicate the fault

i can'tbelieve you're the only other one affected though

am wondering if it just affects MANUALS or is the AUTO also affected?

I mean, if your clock said 11:05 on both the radio and sat nav...... then the radio moves onto 11:06 but the Sat Nav stays at 11:05
