a good friend of mine is a panel beater for BMW and before that ferrari. he was telling me only the other day that he whole repair industry is leaning towards mobile bodywork repairers. it keeps the cost down for insurance companies.

it was interesting how they opperate, they inflate a tent round your car to give a clean area and then replace wings etc and spray the vehicle. obviously cars which have engine damage or need to be jigged etc will still have to taken in a body shop but for panel damage, mobile repairers could become the insurers choice....
