2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Sumatra Black

60k service notice reset

I have had the 60k service done at a local (well respected, and used by myself for over 10 years) garage (£250).

Everything is good running as expected.

I have noticed that he has not reset the service indicator on the dash... As I cant get it in to allow him to do the reset. My question is can I reset the reminder.

Any help and advice please.

I use Ron Payne and Sons in Baltic Street, HARTLEPOOL

Are you close to Hartlepool.

Thanks Frank i have been using Team Valley Land Rover, won't go anywise near Stratsones at Stockton and i live less than half a mile from them, No confidence in their Service department

2011 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Lago Grey

Hi, I had my MY11 serviced at 15k and they reset the service indicator, At 16k a warning came up saying I needed an oil service! Took it to dealer who did all the resets on the dash with the trip button etc but the warning would not go away. They had to put it on the computer to reset it. Seems that this may be a problem for private service people going forward. Any thoughts?
