Too true.
Last year we towed the tin tent to Britiany (Saint Cast le Guildo) via Dunkerque and would recommend France to any one.
This year we didnt have the time or funds to go again and it was very hard trying to find a site in this country that we liked and wasnt overpriced

Why is France so good ?
The roads are far better. Less traffic, in the 800 mile round trip we only got held up once for about 5mins at a toll, try doing that in Britain And when you do stop the services are far better too.
The sites are generally cheaper and offer far more facilities, less chavs and a relaxed friendly mixture of nationalities.
