As a footnote to this, I am happy to report that I have discovered that my car was built on....

Having worked with Land Rover on the press launch of the Range Rover Evoque for the last 5 weeks and being in and out of Halewood on a regular basis I can tell you that there is no such thing as a Friday, just a 7 day week to keep up the production rate to meet the advance orders.

Hmm, mine came off the assembly line on Thursday, but given that it must take quite a few days to fully build I imagine they all must have some sort of Friday input.
My concern is the 1500 apprentices they took on in April, thats 1500 potential problems Thud

everybody has to start somewhere, 1500 new jobs etc

at least the floors will be cleaned, tea made and 1500 long queue at the parts department when they are sent to get a long stand or some sky hooks Laughing Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Yes 1500 new jobs is great, to be honest, I would think they are more conscientious than some of the older Halewood stock, he says carefully as loose objects may be thrown during our visit Whistle
