Australia 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Ipanema Sand
Removal of Seat Belt Chime (FL2)

if you do not enjoy the seat belt chime - try this

1 insert key fob
2 headlights off - press start button - do not start vehicle - instrument panel display lights will be illuminated (including seat belt light)
3 insert seat belt 3 times ( the 3rd time leave seat belt disconnected)
4 turn headlights on and off
5 insert seat belt 3 times (the 3rd time leave seat belt disconnected)
you should hear the seat belt chime once (1) - this process will need to be completed within 60 seconds
I found this process on the web - not for any specific make - IT WORKED for ME

But that one did! Smile

I usually wear my belt and did so even before the law came in, but I find the reminder a bit annoying if I'm maneuvering the car on private land and the belt really isn't needed.
