Wish I had read this before investigating my filter! Just wanted to look at the condition of the filter and found it easy to locate and remove. Struggled for ages trying to get the cover back on and have mangled the clips. Looks like I was also trying to fix it the wrong way round. So the smooth side that looks like it should be the outside actually is the inside? Anyone know if replacement covers are available?  2005 D3 2.7 Auto
