United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Stornoway Grey
Sat Nav - "Route not found"

Just picked up my 57 FL SE last week. It seems that when I try and program any destination further than approx 40 miles away it starts planning - then gives up with the text saying "Route Not Found".

Has anyone else had this. or similar fault? It's happy to plan a route to nearby destinations!

I don't have a manual for the car yet, I thought about giving the disc a wipe but can't work out how to get at it, it seems to be secured in a metal cage under the driver's seat.

Any thoughts much appreciated Thumbs Up JB

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto Sumatra Black

Hi ya Widget, under the drivers seat should be the unit containing the Sat Nav Disc. On the front of it there should be a little slide switch which locks the disc in. You should be able to slide it to the right to the unlock position and then hopefully eject the disc.

Not sure why your getting the answers you are though, only thing I can think is it may need an upgrade of the discs ??

Hope this is of help to you. 2007 ( 57 ) TD4 SE Auto, Samatra Black, Leather interior, Xenon Headlights, No Privacy Glass yet though.

Dealer has tried another Disc, but fault still repeats. Could be a dirty DVD pick up or faulty hardware Confused . Need to go back and they'll need to take driver's seat out etc. to get full access to it Sad JB
