Many years ago I handed in my notice at work the week before going on holiday - the result was they snatched back the company Sierra 2.3 diesel. Yes I know bad planning, but my temper has never been my strong point.

how come everything that can be dangerous if used incorrectly gets banned , except caravans. If you really must stay in a temporary accommodation just let the site owner build a static for you rent it and simply drive to it, job done. Or caravans should be built as a roll on/off skip type thing so a professional driver with a suitable small truck could transport it for you and drop it off in remote location (with full electric water a bathroom facilities oddly already built there )
