United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4_e XS Manual Lago Grey
motorway to thame m40

i had the plesure of going down to thame in oxfordshire yesterday didn;t realise that i passed gaydon it was approx 8am when all of a sudden i found myself in a convoy of discos, freelanders, range rovers, and when i say a convoy it was there was approx 20 plus vehicles as thay over took me all smiled and and gave a nod the thing that stood out was all the reg prefixes began with the same two letters an not one vehicle was below a 60 reg after approx 2mls they all started moving into one lane and the turn off for gaydon the was some poor soul in a 300 series disco on the hard shoulder with the bonnet up he was getting plenty of help what was interesting i did not see one evoke till i was on my way home later in the afternoon, proberbly what i saw could be the reason why some of you chaps are late in getting your new freelanders i must have passed 6 to 8 transporters full of unregisterd evokes heading south towards london intersting fact that the evoke has an 1 inch more ground clearance than the freelander i did just short of a 400 mile round trip and averged 52mpg going down that was doing approx 60 -to 70 mph on the way back i got 45-47 mpg but i was dooing 70 to 80 mph Cool rainy-city

England 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Baltic Blue

If you look on the LandRover website under dimensions the data shows that for:

Evoque the ground clearance is:

215mm Front Axle
240mm Rear Axle

and for the Freelander the ground clearance is:

210mm Front Axle
265mm Rear Axle
