WTD: Caravan season pitch <100 miles from Salisbury

Hi all,

Long shot, but wondered if anybody knows of anywhere...

We want to stick our caravan on a pitch in the area of 100 miles or less from salisbury (Dorset, Hampshire, New Forest sort of area) so that we can use it for the odd weekend without the need to move it and we also like to spend a week or so around Xmas in it.

We tend to use caravan and camping club sites but the nearest to where we are living at the moment that is open for winter with season pitches is Tavistock - that is too far.

Requirement is just hard standing and electric and the fact we want it to remain on the pitch, not have someone with a tractor bring it out when we want it.

Might be worth giving these guys a ring. I know they were doing season pitches last year as they did a mailshot that led to a few people misdialling and ringing our house trying to book a pitch.

Let's just say that by the 4th call we got a little mischievous in our responses....

Still need to get up to you to pick that hard top up. Rammed at the moment, but may well be able to do something in early September if you are about? Current driveway contents:

I'm afraid this probably exceeds you mileage acquirement but I'll make the suggestion in case you have some flexibility.

Hard standing - yes,
electric hook up - yes,
less than 1 minutes walk from a beach - yes,
basic toilet/shower block - yes
full year fee is £1200 so room for negotiation for part year

There is no public parking anywhere near this beach which means it is very quiet

Beach faces west so the sunsets are amazing

Take a look at Google maps and enter LL54 5EH ...

Rally was awesome! thanks Al, great way to raise cash and have a good trip out too. The CB was a great thing to have too, you can have it back now if you want We are OK with the hardtop for sometime yet mate, I stupidly took the the top hinges off the catflap for rustproofing..mistake as they are a sod to re attach. (do you want to sell Capt Blue? ) That site is no good thanks mate as it is not open in the winter - our primary requirement.

My gosh...now that is deal and a half, sounds like a great site and the price is astonishing in comparison to others, it is just too far mate  SD4 HSE Lux
