United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Lago Grey
Mysterious Judder or Misfire

I have a 5 month old SD4 GS (Auto) and it's developed what i can only describe as a judder (feels like an old fashioned misfire) when under light engine load e.g. driving at a constant speed. It also gets bogged down when moving off and has come close to stalling a few times.

I've noticed the odd comments on other threads mentioning the same issue. Is this as common as it looks?
Has anyone managed to get it sorted?

Thanks...... Thumbs Up

Sounds a bit like engine/gearbox management. You could try the extra earth strap to gearbox route, or maybe it's a software upgrade.
Under warranty, take it back!
