Right parkinglight is dead! Help help!

Hi!
So I got a dead parkinglight bulb on my right side. I have been running LEDs for a while now without any issues unit a few days ago when one of them went dead.
I decided that I would switch them out for some standard lights and that's just what I did.....only my right side still doesn't work. I measured the voltage and to my surprise it was 12v in the socket.....I tried again with another bulb. Still nothing. I then left the voltmeter inn the socket as I inserted the bulb and booom the voltage dropped to zero! Big Cry
Does anyone have any idea? FL2, TD4 HSE

The exterior lamp circuit are protected by FET's (field effect transistors) rather than the conventional fuse.
Try replacing the bulb with power off as arcing could cause an increase in current enough to shut down the FET. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

Thanks. Will try that tomorrow, but is there one circuit for every lamp? Wouldn't a shutdown of this FET shut down more bulbs? FL2, TD4 HSE

Not sure about that one. Normally there would be a seperate fuse for both l/h and r/h sidelamps. I can't remember if there is a seperate fet for each sidelamp bulb although i doubt it Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.
