Interim Oil Service

With all my previous cars I've done my own 6k oil changes and full services. Obviously the Landy is new and down for its first at 15k I believe with my service package.

Do you all stick with the recommended intervals or does anyone squeeze in an interim oil and filter? I know LR support and approve the 15k or usually yearly service but is an interim even better? 2013 FL2 - Black Edition Auto

I only do about 6000mls a year so the annual service was fine for me.

my feelings are that if you intend to keep the car for a very long time, say over 10 years, it would do no harm to change the oil and filter between services or every 6000mls.

but if you intend to change the car after 3 or 4 years I wouldn't bother.

but I also think that with modern technology, oils and filters, etc, it is not really necessary.
