I really can't grumble with my fuel economy at all for the size of the vehicle and the fact that it's 4 wheel drive. I do a mix of motorway and A roads and not too many short journeys. I always get a minimum of 38.5 from working it out full to full every time, sometimes over 40 which isn't bad at all. I find the onboard computer is pretty much spot on too with MPG.

I also us an Audi A6 Avant which according to the computer is getting 47mpg on the same journey but working it out is generally doing only 42mpg. For the Land Rover to be that close to a 2wd Audi is impressive. Audi computers not being accurate, who'd have thought that........

Interestlingly this FL2 is older and higher mileage than my previous one but is about 4-5mpg better.
