Hi Zoey and thanks for the info.

Unfortunately this stuff does not appear to be available on this side of the 'pond' pity really.

Anyone else got any advice? Confused

Hi Mr Wolf,

Thanks for the info Thumbs Up but I had already looked at this site and could not find Scotchgard™ Auto Interior Fabric Protector. There are a number of products but nine for the car seats

It works on upholstory and fabric.

Unless the LR upholstory is something special and unique I woud have thought this product would work OK.

Try emailing them and asking.

Auto Glym may also do something. Have a look at their web site. My LR dealer use their stuff for the paintwork & upholstory as an option from new.

I wouldn't hesitate to give this a try. However, try it out on an inconspicuous part of the car first, like on the carpet under a foot mat.

It may not be as heavy duty, thus may require a couple of treatments a year. Not a deal breaker though. Make sure that you ventilate the car well during and after application (I would also suggest wearing a respirator) because the fumes are brutal until the product dries.

The Diamondbrite Spray is technically the same thing & does all fabrics etc. I often offer it as an option to customers. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
(Past) RR Evoque Dynamic Lux Si4 In Firenze Red.
(Past) RR Evouque Pure Tech in Barollo Black with bespoke Firenze Red colour coding.

You can use the Diamondbrite on any fabrics including alcantara (XS). Regarding leather the only product other than Scotchgaurd that I am aware of that can be applied is Autoglym Lifeshine. I only know Scotchgaurd can as it is generally sold when buying a new 3 piece suite etc!
I can't speak for the likes of Supagaurd etc as I don't have any dealings with them. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

Thanks Executive Valeter Thumbs Up

I know that Scotchguard can turn the leather purple (where it meets the fabric) and so just wanted to make sure that Diamondbrite did not Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

I bought Diamondbrite via Ebay and applied it last weekend. Will have to wait and see how it works. Also purchased the Diamondbrite sealant. applied that at the weekend too. The two coats give a good shine Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
