United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Baltic Blue

I am in the same dilema, mine is three years old on saturday but only done 17000 miles !! mostly due to it not being reliable, usable or drivable !

Do i want to part with another 15K ? I dont think Landrover deserve my dosh !

Now mine is finally working I may push it through year 4 and take a chance ! whilst i think very carefully this time before I rushout and buy a piece of junk! My sister told me not to buy a L/Rover as she was a fleet manager for 900 cars with a company in London and all their Discos and RR's were so bad but customer service was even worse and L/rover customer services was the rudest people she had ever dealt with that she had them banned from the fleet !
I guess she was a good judge ! Bow down

Shocked

Don't know what you mean?

...... "Turn slightly left at the next junction...." Question

I frequently get - "There is slow traffic" & "There is an obstruction ahead" which I of course ignore because there are few alternatives on mountain routes & guess what - there is/was NO obstruction or any slow traffic Rolling Eyes 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

We have had ours nearly four years, bought it in August 2007 as an 8 month old ex LR car. I went in recently to discuss swapping for a new HSE SD4, or nearly new HSE SD4.

Now I was offered £17k for mine in PX with 43k miles and a new one with the options at a discounted price of £36500. So although I paid £26k for mine in Aug 07 the PX price was excellent, but I would expect it to be good as ours is about as perfect as you can get.

But it still leaves a gap of £20k to upgrade. So being as I have done a full facelift on ours for the cost of about £600 I feel it is hard to justify or in fact want to spend this amount on a new car.

Ours looks as good as a 2011MY car, and with the expection of spending £835 on a new clutch last month it has been 100% reliable.

So we are going to keep ours maybe for another couple of years.

According to my dealer, there are alot of FL2 owners that are thinking on the same lines and as such it is helping keeping the used prices high as there is a lack of used cars available. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. 17K seems a little low.

I renewed my GAP insurance with www.surfandprotect.com in March.

I have a 07 plate GS Manual 48K miles. They valued it at £17150 for the GAP insurance. Just under £300 for another 4 year of GAP. Goo d value I think, and with landorver extended warranty at £550 a year I will be keeping mine for another 3 or even 4 years.

To be honest thats about right for a trade in value for mine, as it would be up on the forecourt for about £19.5/£20k Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........
