Your opinions of the 2WD ed4 model please

My mates just asked me what the ed4 model 61 plate is like as he's been offered one as a company car
I suggested the wealth of knowledge on here would offer any pros and cons before he makes his choice

I have emphasised how much I love mine but it's not the same model so hope any forum members would be able to comment on the following points to give him a guide

He will follow the thread so keep your thoughts coming please

4x4 v 2WD
General driving thoughts
An acceptable spec level for the model
As it's a company car he won't be bothered with cost of maintenance etc

Thanks for helping a mate in anticipation.......

I haven't driven the eD4, but my impressions gained from others here and elsewhere are:

On-road it probably won't feel much different from the 4wd version.

Off-road it will do better than you think, albeit not as well as the 4wd version, obviously.

On snow and ice, well, its a heavy 2wd so it will get stuck!

Personally, I'd still rather have that than most other things.
