I ordered a GS and added to it to get what I wanted. The result is basically XS spec but without the Satnav (£1500 for something not as good as a TomTom ) but plus Xenons. From the XS to HSE is a big step pricewise and unless you really want the sunroof and all the rest is poor value for money IMO. Brian

its a bit of a double edge sword i think... spec up a GS to what you want and you get what you want for similar money to an XS but you are likely to loose it at resale as people gor for the badge not the spec

Despite satnav not being brill - its not bad for factory fit (at least it does full post code search) this is of course with the exception of bmw's connected drive which I believe is excellent and lets you o google search!! ... any way, despite it not being brill it will help you sell the car further down the line, and besides I hate wires and stuff so built it sat nav suits me Freelander 2 TD4 Auto, SE, Narvik Black, Alpaca full leather, Rear Headrest Entertainment System, 6 CD, 18 HSE Wheels, Privicy tints
